Hello my fellow deviants!
Im very happy to tell you that I got a job! My first application was the right one and I started some weeks ago as an intern in a small architecture office. The work is ok, although I miss thinking about urbanism. Its a big change to work on city spaces to drawing
kitchens lol. But I give it a chance!
I dont have to miss the urbanism totally, cause my thesis is selected for a competition that gives a price to the best urbanism thesis of previous academic year. Even though I hate jurys and do presentations and feel obliged to do formal stuff, I love winning prices. If I do, youll know it next journal. Meanwhile, keep your thumbs up!
For the people interested in architecture and living in Belgium and Netherlands, my class (along with the mentoring teacher) is participating with the International Architecture Biennial of Rotterdam
[link] . I still need to check out the exhibition myself, but Im very proud we got selected and Im glad I have a tiny bit of biennial experience!
In September I spent 2 weeks of vacation in Portugal and I visited some beautiful places, as youll notice in my pictures. And I started Portuguese classes as well! It's still very basic, but I'm having lots of fun!
I wanted to end this journal with 2 features of deviants that have been delivering very strong pictures lately. Enjoy and take care!
